Meet Carmen
Hi! I’m Carmen and I’m the founder of BC Driving Blog. I’m here to help you make sense of driving laws and techniques in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, and to be a unique resource for new and learner drivers and their co-pilots.
It was back when I was 22 when all I could think about was becoming a driving instructor. Thanks to a couple of crazy people who hired and trained me, my dream became a reality. Many moons later, I’m still obsessed with driving.
This website is the result of countless hours of experience both driving and teaching driving lessons to all sorts of humans, including folks from various countries and of various ages. I taught for many years on standard and automatic vehicles and a minivan and later decided to turn my experience into a website that may be beneficial to you or hopefully to someone.
