Just a Friday confession: I’m afraid of stopping for pedestrians on multi-lane roads. Not sure what to do about it since not stopping for them isn’t really the solution.
New safer formula for pedestrians crossing:
1) Slow down and stop
2) See which other cars aren’t stopping
3) Honk to keep the pedestrian alive?
This car was directly behind me and sped around me as soon as I slowed down. And this is not the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th or 5th time this has happened. And that’s someone’s baby in the crosswalk. (Who could have activated the flashing yellow lights, although I can’t be sure they weren’t working for some reason).
Remember if the vehicle in front of you stops without a turn signal, there might be a good reason for it. You might want to check it out.
