Afraid of Stopping for Pedestrians

Just a Friday confession: I’m afraid of stopping for pedestrians on multi-lane roads. Not sure what to do about it since not stopping for them isn’t really the solution. New safer formula for pedestrians crossing: 1) Slow down and stop 2) See which other cars aren’t stopping 3) Honk to keep the pedestrian alive? This car was directly behind me and sped around …

Jaywalker Skateboarder ~ Jayboarder Left Turn (Video)

Is this called a Jay-Boarder? I suppose this is a good example of why it is recommended (more like crucial)  to look where we are going while we are going there. It seems not everyone believes in the notion of sidewalks or crosswalks; and maybe we don’t agree with their choice but we still don’t want to collide.

I know motorcycles can have much larger engines, but many scooters can virtually handle highway speeds. All while “L” motorcycle riders have to limit their speed below 60km/hr, have a supervisor, and can’t …

New Driver Q: Left Turn at Busy Intersection

Comment: Hi, I was in a situation during my road test in which I had to turn left at a 4-way intersection with lights across a two-lane road. I slightly entered the intersection because I had a green light, but had to yield to the traffic coming from the other side. After about 15 seconds, the light turned yellow but …
